Newsweek reporter Marni Rose McFall contacted several reporter for their comments and was told, "This marks a significant astrological shift, moving us from a period of slow, tangible transformation (Taurus) into an era of rapid intellectual and communicative evolution (Gemini)." McFall cites the Instagram account, @v.josa, which says, "Why is no one talking about the fact that Uranus will enter Gemini in July, the last time this happened was during the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki."
In conclusion McFall says that according to astrologer Letao Wang, "This year 2025, we will have this amazing opportunity to witness between July and November, how Uranus's journey in this exciting air sign feels, before it retrogrades back into Taurus for its final farewell to the past seven years."

Youtube influencer, Perez Hilton reported that the astrologer who runs the Youtube channel, 'Astrology with Janessa', was issued a notice of subpoena by Google, in relationship to a separate legal case file by Blake Lively against Justin Baldoni. It isn't clear why Janessa is being subject to legal action and according to Hilton, "Astrology with Janessa has less than 300 subscribers on YouTube. What could have possibly bothered Blake Lively so much about this deposition time?" However, Hilton also speculates that it may have something to do with an astrological analysis Janessa made regarding Lively's lawsuit.
According to the Indian astrologer Dr. Jai Madaan, "In 1941, the world was under a heavy astrological influence: the Mars-Saturn conflict. It was a time of unstoppable aggression and unfinished karmic debts. That year, both Saturn and Uranus sat in Taurus, a combination known for causing conflicts over land, food crises, and financial instability." According to Madaan there is a strong similarity between the planetary alignments of 1941 and 2025. Saturn is now in Pisces, a sign known for dissolving boundaries and creating confusion. Meanwhile, Rahu (the North Node of the Moon) is in Aries, the fiery sign ruled by Mars. Madaan says, “This fuels impulsive decisions, ego-driven wars, and widespread unrest.” The implications are that we could be looking at power struggles and challenges to diplomacy worldwide.

Practicing witch of 18 years, Lindsay Squire, 41 told the New York Post that she refuses to cast love spells. Squire says, “It’s wrong to try to make someone love you — they should want that themselves.”
According to Squire, “I receive at least one message every day from someone on Instagram asking if I would cast a love spell for them, and it usually involves making someone fall in love with them in some form or another. This kind of magic is manipulative and unethical, and could be making someone do something they would not do unless the spell is cast upon them.”
So my pretty, if you're thinking of asking your friendly nieghbourhood witch to cast you a love spell, think again, you might just incur the sharp end of her ruby slipper. Just remember, we're not in Kansas anymore!

You may have heard of 'Who moved my cheese', but now for something different. Apparently, the telling of futures, through reading cheese or tyromancy, is a thing. Chicago-based Jennifer Billock, is a practicing tyromancer who provided a Zoom reading for AFAR's, Kristin Vuković.
Vuković's question was, "On August 30, I’m going to a cheese festival on Pag to promote my novel. How do I make the most of that time?" Vuković was required to choose a cheese for the reading and reported that this revealed an astonishing goat image in its rind. According to Billock's forecast, "Your dragon is flying right into this flower, which is taking initiative to move forward and go into a place of growth." Billock added, "There may be obstacles or things that come up that seem tricky, but the goat is going to just chew through them. So as long as you are tenacious and keep a good attitude and are willing to adapt to the changes that are coming, then that’s ideal."
According to Vuković, "Tyromancy was first mentioned in the second-century writings of Greek historian and professional diviner Artemidorus of Daldis."
Stacy Gregg is a New Zealand based author and TV writer. She turned to friend and tarot reader, Sarah Nathan for a reading about the fate of her latest book, 'The Last Journey'. You need to show it to multiple publishers.” In the event, this led Gregg to send out the manuscript to UK publishing house, Simon & Schuster, which ultimately resulted in the signing of a six-figure deal.
Citing data from a recent Pew Research Center study, the Christianpost says, "Though consulting astrology or horoscopes is forbidden in Scripture, more than a quarter of Christians say they believe the stars and planets have some impact on human destiny." According to this data, black Protestants and Hispanic Catholics were more likely to believe in astrology than white Evangelicals. About a third of black Protestants, Hispanic Catholics, and respondents who described their religion as “nothing in particular” had similar views on the subject. White Evangelicals, atheists, Jewish Americans and agnostics were less likely to say they believe in astrology than the general public. The writer, Leonardo Blair also makes reference to Christian researchers like George Barna in support of why they believe astrology and Christanity don't mix.
Hanna Tervanotko who studies ancient divination, is the author of this piece in The Conversation. Tervanotko says, "I have observed contemporary diviners at work and talked with them about their practices. They say their clients request tarot consultations more frequently than they did in the past."
Tervanotko, who is an Associate Professor in Religious Studies at McMaster University explains what divination is and how this relates to today's world. According to Tervanotko, "In an age marked by ongoing anxiety, political instability and waning trust in institutions, centuries-old divination rituals offer alternative ways for folks to seek entertainment but also to gain a sense of insight, agency and connection."
Evangelicals are a conservative Christian denomination. According to a recent Pew study, white Evangelicals were found to be those least likely to use Tarot cards. However, three such former Evangelists told RNS that using Tarot cards, "Helped them reimagine their spirituality" and that through reading cards and guidebooks, they began to see Tarot as an empowering tool for discernment, or a mirror of the thoughts and feelings one holds inside.
One such former Evangelist, Kevin Garcia now uses Tarot as a tool for spiritual direction in his coaching business. He still sees Jesus as an important faith teacher, but also incorporates alternative elements such as ancestor veneration and yoga.
