This necklace is made of a strong, black nylon thread, into which 31, 51 or 101 knots are hand woven by a Hindu priest. These necklaces are only made on numerologically and astrologically auspicious days, during the period of the waxing (rising) Moon. Special Sanskrit Mantras for luck, success, progress, protection, wealth achievement and overcoming obstacles are chanted, as the knots are woven into the thread. This is part of the energising of the talisman and imbibes it with strong positive energy. The auspicious 'Swastik' locket is attached to the centre of the necklace, after which another sacred prayer is made, to complete this very powerful good luck charm.
Available in three sizes of 31, 51 and 101 knots. The length when measured from mid-point to mid-point ranges from 35cm to 40cm, depending on the number of knots.
