'Ganpathi' is the lord of good fortune and is also known by other names such as, 'Ganesh'. He was created from holy ash by the Goddesses 'Parvati', but was decapitated in a fit of rage by Lord Shiva. Ganpathi was then brought back to life by a repentant lord Shiva and his head was replaced with that of an elephant's.

This affirmation is similar to the Ganpathi Gayatri Mantra and addresses the form of Ganpathi known as 'Vighnaharta' - The Destroyer of Obstacles.
