A lot has happened in the build up to the 2024 US presidential election. Trump's campaign looks almost bullet-proof, both literally and metaphorically. However, with Sleepy Joe stepping aside as Democratic Party candidate in favour of current Vice-President Kamala Harris, an analysis of Harris's horoscope assumes great importance. We'll get straight to the point and list the important predictions that the PowerFortunes astrologers foretell for her at this important hour.

Future Predictions for Kamala Harris

The main predictions for Kamala Harris, on the basis of her current and mid-term planetary periods and planetary transits are:

• Between early August and early October, her popularity will increase on account of her ability to adapt to different situations. There will be occasions on which she will find ingenious ways to promote herself.
• After early October, her ability to appeal to people's emotions will be stronger. She will be able to use this emotional connection to her advantage and to also strengthen her campaign financially.
• Harris may be more enterprising and try to seize the initiative from her opponent between the first week of October and mid-October.
• Her election bid may face troubles that cast doubt on its strength between mid and late October. However, there will be a recovery from these setbacks after late October.
• Although she will prove to be a strong contender and run a spirited campaign, her concurrent planetary periods and the planetary alignments of November 5 suggest that she may fall just short of a victory. This is however, subject to Donald Trump's astrological profile, as explained further on.

A combusted Mercury is conjunct with the Sun in the friendly sign of Libra and Mercury is the ruling planet of her ascendant. Mercury is also the ruling planet of Gemini, the name sign for 'Kamala'. The 2024 Presidential Election

Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race on June 21 and soon after Harris secured the support of party members as the new candidate. We shall assume July 21, 2024 22:00 EST as the time that Harris became the official Democrat candidate. This is a significant point in time in her life and the chart for this event is given below.

On July 21, Harris was passing through major, minor and sub planetary periods of 'Rahu', Venus, Venus and Mercury, respectively. All these periods are complimentary and thus favourable for her. The concurrence of 'Rahu' and Mercury periods was favourable for the stroke of good luck that she experienced. According to the chart cast for that time, Saturn was the ascendant and Saturn presently occupies its own zodiac sign of Aquarius, which is Kamala's house of fate. Hence, although Saturn was in-retrograde, the alignment of planets and her prevailing planetary periods were favourable for good fortune resulting from diligence and hard work. This means that her campaign for the position of President is off to a favourable and auspicious start that will have long term effects.

There is however, no escaping from the fact that although 'Rahu' occupies the friendly zodiac sign of Gemini and has thus far had a favourable influence on Kamala, in the context of the elections, an air of struggle and doubt will prevail until election day. This will be particularly true in the short term, till the first week of August.

This is Rahu's nature. The mitigating factors are that in her chart, 'Rahu' is weak at 01°:08' and is neutral, hence it can bring unexpected gains and the troubles that it does cause, will not have long term consequences.

On the day of the election, Kamala Harris will be passing through sub-periods of Venus, the Moon and Jupiter. Additionally, separate 'Yogini' planetary periods of 'Bhramri' in 'Sankata' will also be in effect. These periods are exclusive to Vedic astrology and they will accentuate the obstacles and struggles induced by her 'Rahu' major period. It is also important to note that his precise birth data that is, an accurate time of birth, may not be available.

It will be a tough contest, however on the face of it, the astrological influences at play do not look like a winning combination for Kamala Harris. So while she may prove to be a strong and worthy candidate, when the dust settles, she may not emerge as the winning candidate.
